Our History
Drowned Gods was founded in 2026 by a group of passionate World of Warships players who wanted to create something different — a clan that combines competitive excellence with a welcoming, international community. What started as a small group of Czech and American players has grown into a thriving clan on the EU server.
The name "Drowned Gods" draws inspiration from the maritime mythology of the Iron Islands, reflecting our deep connection to the sea and our unyielding spirit in battle. Just as the ironborn believe that what is dead may never die, our clan rises from every defeat stronger and more determined.
From our founding days, we have focused on building a clan that values both skill and camaraderie. We believe that the best clans are not just collections of talented players, but communities where members support each other, share knowledge, and push each other to improve.
Our Mission
Drowned Gods exists to provide a competitive yet welcoming home for World of Warships players on the EU server. Our mission is threefold:

Clan battles are the heart of competitive World of Warships, and Drowned Gods takes them seriously. Here is how we approach each season:
- Pre-Season Preparation — Before each clan battle season, we analyze the rule set, map pool, and available ship compositions to develop our strategies.
- Composition Planning — We identify optimal team compositions and ensure our members have the right ships, builds, and captain skills ready.
- Shot-Calling Structure — We have trained shot-callers who lead battles with clear communication and decisive calls.
- After-Action Review — After battle sessions, we review key moments, discuss what worked and what did not, and refine our approach for the next session.
- Multiple Lineups — We maintain depth in our roster, allowing us to field competitive teams even when some members are unavailable.

Rank Structure
Our clan uses a naval rank hierarchy that reflects each member's role, experience, and contribution:
- Admiral — Clan commander, responsible for overall direction and final decisions.
- Vice Admiral — Deputy commander, assists with strategic planning and clan management.
- Rear Admiral — Senior leadership, oversees specific areas like recruitment or training.
- Commodore — High-ranking officer, involved in strategic planning and battle leadership.
- Captain — Senior officer, leads battle divisions and mentors junior members.
- Sub-Lieutenant — Officer, helps organize events and assists with daily management.
- Ensign — Junior officer, shows leadership potential and takes on responsibilities.
- Veteran Sailor / Sailor — Full clan members with varying levels of experience.
- Recruit — New members in their probation period.
